We are so excited to welcome Dr. Milena Mkrtchyan to the Brighton Implant Clinic Family. She is a 26-year-old dentist and she is getting ready to start work at our Hailsham branch.
Dr. Milena Mkrtchyan is from Armenia, was born in Russia and raised in Romania. She is fluent in seven languages, including English, Russian, Spanish, Romanian, Portuguese, French and Armenian. She was also involved in writing five research papers, one of which was published in the International Journal of Interdisciplinary Medicine.
She did her study for six years at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Targu Mures, Romania and received her doctorate in dental medicine in 2019. She also spent six months in Porto, Portugal as a part of an Erasmus programme. During that time, she studied at the Faculdade de Medicina Dentária da Universidade do Porto.
Though she is just now joining our team as a professional, Dr. Milena Mkrtchyan has already spent some time working with our team. As a student, she gained an interest in implant dentistry and was able to come learn at our Hove branch as a part of an Erasmus programme. During this time, she helped with treatment planning, attended live surgeries and observed other dentists as they applied various specialties.
This was not only a valuable experience for a dentist in training, but the team at Brighton Implant Clinic also found it to be a great experience getting to work with her as a student and get to know her as an individual. This is part of the reason why we were so eager to take her on as a member of our staff.
Dr. Milena Mkrtchyan is sure to bring a lot of value to our clinic and the community. We are looking forward to working with her and we hope to keep her as a member of the team for many years.
