The Brighton Implant Clinic facilities have been carefully designed by an experienced architectural firm specialised in designing world class dental clinics. The Brighton Implant Clinic facilities were awarded ‘Best Practice Award’ at the Private Dentistry Awards in 2009 and ‘Most Attractive Practice’ 2010. The first clinic was opened in 2009 in Hove, East Sussex. Dr Bruno Silva who founded the clinic started placing implants in 2003 and became more interested in Dental implant treatment after seeing the advantages this treatment provided for patients with missing teeth. Dental implants were pioneered in the 1970’s by Professor Branemark of Sweden.
Titanium implants are the most common type of implants used today in implant dentistry. At Brighton implant clinic we only use root form dental implants which resemble the roots of natural teeth. The latest clinic to open is in Worthing, West Sussex. The clinic has onsite CT scanning facilities, onsite dental lab and 9 fully equipped dental surgeries. Thank you for your message. We have been offering zygomatic implants in our clinic since 2011. Zygomatic implants are different in that they are usually much longer than standard implants used in the upper or lower jaw bone. These implants are secured into the cheek bones and are used only where we have extremely limited amounts of bone. Whilst we do numerous teeth on 4 procedures in a month we do much less procedures which involve zygomatic implants. We have to date treated about 40 patients with either 1 or 2 zygomatic implants per patient and had one zygomatic implant failure. The one zygomatic implant failure which we had to remove was allowed to heal for 4 months. We have since replaced this with another zygomatic implant and to date this is working very well.

I had my two implants fitted yesterday at the Brighton branch by Dr Valentine. I have always hated going to the dentist but can truthfully say that he was so gentle and reassuring I felt no pain or anxiety at any time. I’d go so far as to say that I enjoyed coming to the clinic! Your staff are all so friendly and welcoming I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to friends and family, and I am so happy with my new teeth! Thank you all so much.

I would like to thank Bruno Silva for all his support during my recent problem with one of my teeth. In my opinion Brighton Implant Clinic is no doubt the best clinic in the UK. The staff are very friendly and the dentists will always go the extra me to support you. Mr Silva has supported me throughout.
If l get to the temporary implant stage with my usual dentist, would you consider upgrading from that stage to upgraded permanent teeth?
Hi Sue, thanks for your inquiry. I would not recommend that you change dentists halfway through treatment. Healthcare is best provided when there is trust and confidence with your dentist or doctor. If something should go wrong who would be held responsible for the treatment overall. If there is a specific reason that you cant return to your dentist then we would do our best to help but each case would need to be dealt with uniquely. Need an implant as front tooth has broken right off. How quick can this be done and is there the option of a payment plan?

I would say that the 8 implants that Bruno has fitted to my upper and lower jaw has been completed with the highest standard ,also I had 4 crowns fitted, so a lot of work, it is a 200 mile round trip for me but I must say it’s not a problem as the clinic staff are so helpful,, I have no hesitation in recommending Brighton implant clinic to many of my friends , I wish Bruno and all his staff a happy and prosperous new year.

On Monday 14th March I visited the implant clinic for an assessment on having implants. Before going my thoughts were that they would baffle me & try the hard sale but I was completely wrong. I spent over one hour in the clinic. Had two types of scans. I was showen the scans & each part was explained slowly so that I would understand. There was no hard sale pitch, in fact the opposite was the case. It was explained that I could have implants in my lower jaw but not in the top for medical reasons. I was advised to contact my Doctor & today received a cd & letter to give to my GP. The best part fo all this, they did not charge me a penny. I would like to thank you all for a very pleasant time with you all. Mr T Holt.
