A clinical dental technician with an internationally acclaimed digital dentistry qualification, has recently joined the staff at the Worthing branch of the Brighton Implant Clinic.
Kevin is an expert in all aspects of making dentures and always has the patient first in his mind.
“I am committed to creating dentures that fit well, look natural and allow you to maintain a healthy mouth.”
Kevin started his career in dentistry at the age of only 15, when he joined his family business in Great Oakley, Northampton as a dental technician. He spent five years there as an apprentice and became a registered dental technician in 1990.
Wanting to ensure his patients the highest quality care, Kevin decided to pursue additional training and became one of the first 100 clinical dental technicians in the UK to qualify and receive the digital dentistry qualification. Digital dentistry is the use of digital methods in place of traditional techniques. These new methods allow for greater precision and as a result, better fitting dentures.
Starting in 2006 all clinical dental technicians were required to get additional training in order to practice independently from dentists. Kevin completed this training at the Royal College of Surgeons (Faculty of General Dental Practice) in 2007 and became one of the first clinical dental technicians to register with the General Dental Council.
Patients benefit from the latest techniques and technologies in making dentures thanks to Kevin’s years of training and experience.
“I believe every case is as individual as you and it’s important to listen to your requirements when fitting you for dentures.”
